Concert of Frank Peter Zimmermann and Jakub Hrůša performing Suite Concertante by Martinů will be broadcast tomorrow evening.
Jakub Hrůša and Frank Peter Zimmermann came together again – this time with the Rundfunk-Sinfonie Orchester Berlin. This time, they perform together the Suite Concertante by Martinů and Rhapsody No. 1 by Bartók. On the programme, there are also works by Janáček and Novák. The concert will be broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur tommorow – 29. 4. at 20:03 CET time.→ More
Concerto for Two Violins on air
Today at 8.00 pm CRo 3 – Vltava will broadcast recording of the concert which took place in Rudolfinum, Prague on 16 April. The programme of the radio will offer Bohuslav Martinů’s Concerto for Two Violins and Orchestra, H 329 performed by PKF – Prague Philharmonia under the baton of Jakub Hrůša and with soloists and brothers Jan and Jakub Fišer.→ More

Smetana trio receives BBC Music Magazine Award
The Smetana Trio received the BBC Music Magazine Award in the category of chamber music for its complete recording of Bohuslav Martinů's piano trios. It is not the first appreciation of last year’s recording released by Supraphon, Jitka Čechová (piano), Jiří Vodička (violin) and Jan Páleníček (violoncello) received also Diapason d´Or, BBC Music Magazine Disc of the Month or Sunday Times Album of the Week.→ More
