Bohuslav Martinů in the Czech Philharmonic's New Year's Concert 2014
Mr David Mareček, the director of the Czech Philharmonic, tells a Christmas poem written by Martinů in 1950's including plenty of references to the then current affairs yet still preserving its festive feel.
Mr Mareček has also mentioned the fact Bohuslav Martinů was a member of the Czech Philharmonic himself and he disclosed more information on the composer's musical life.
