Opening of the exhibition Martinů walks through Prague
On Thursday 27 March 2025, the opening of our exhibition Martinů walks through Prague took place.

We would like to thank the author of the exhibition, Lucie Harasim Berná, and the staff of the Bohuslav Martinů Institute who contributed significantly to the creation of the exhibition and the opening.
Many thanks to the co-organisers, the Central Library of the Municipal Library Prague and its Music Department - namely Jan Konrád as Head of the Central Library and Alice Machyánová as representative of the Music Department.
A very nice enrichment of the exhibition was the performance of Jana Bezpalcova, who performed compositions by Bohuslav Martinů in her own arrangement for accordion.
The opening was musically closed by a very nice performance of the pupils of the ZUŠ Líbeznice under the direction of Naďa Novotná and with piano accompaniment of Anna Gaálová, who performed short songs by Bohuslav Martinů.
We are grateful to the financial support of the Municipality of Prague and the State Culture Fund.
The exhibition will be on display at several locations in Prague throughout the year.
The next event to be held at the Municipal Library will be a concert by the Zemlinsky Quartet on 10 December 2025 in the Great Hall of the Municipal Library.
