Concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of founding of Academy of Performing Arts
The grand concert is part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Lichtenstein Palace, the seat of the Faculty of Music, will welcome Andreas Sebastian Weiser at the head of the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra. The programme will be ushered in with a performance of Mysliveček’s Overture in F major, followed by Martinů’s Suite Concertante with the solo violin played by Jakub Junek, a doctoral student of the academy. The second half of the evening will give way to Schubert’s delightful Third Symphony.
