Bohuslav Martinů Days 2021 | Concert of laureates of BMF Competition 2020

The Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition focuses on instruments for which the composer wrote sonatas or other chamber works. Last year’s adverse conditions were faced by players of wind instruments (clarinet, flute, trumpet) and harpsichords – rediscovered in the twentieth century by new-style composers like Martinů. First Prize was won by the trumpeter Walter Hofbauer and the harpsichordist Jiří Havrlant. This concert with a rich programme ranging from Bach to the present will see them take to the stage along with other laureates of the contest.
