Bohuslav Martinů Days 2021 | Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra
CANCELED because of quarantine of the orchestra
4. 12. 2021 / 7:30–9:00 p.m.
Liechtenstein Palace, Martinů Hall
Martinů Hall will welcome visitors from Olomouc – the Moravian Philharmonic with its chief conductor, the eminent choirmaster, opera and orchestra conductor Jakub Klecker. They will open with Martinů’s more diminutive Tre ricercari, whose typical playfulness and complex rhythmicality put it on par with the composer’s grand symphonic works. Martinů’s “signature” style is also embedded in his Rhapsody-Concerto, in which the orchestra will accompany the violist Kristina Fialová. The evening will be concluded with the Italian Symphony of Felix Mendelssohn.
