Ariadne at the Smetanova Litomyšl Festival
One-act opera Ariadne, H 370 by Bohuslav Martinů on composer's libreto after the play Return of Theseus by Georges Neveux will be performed at the Smetanova Litomyšl Festival 2021. The project "Three times Ariadne" connects baroque Monteverdi, classical Benda and Bohuslav Martinů and their musical versions of the ancient story.
